In a time of environmental collapse, my work aims to repair our disconnection with nature and spirituality using technology and storytelling. 

 

My process always begins with walking through natural landscapes – often the forest – and digitising everything through photographs, videos, or 3D scans. I squeeze the natural world through a digital lens, intentionally misusing technology to create glitches which reveal new artificial perspectives.

 

Meanwhile, I explore different corners of the internet. My sources are a mixture of factual and fantastical, embracing the internet as a hub of fact and fiction. In one tab, I could be reading about the latest biotechnology developments; in the next tab: an ancient folklore surrounded by glittering clip art.

This exploration usually culminates as books, prints, installations, or films which question our Indoor Generation's relationship with the internet and the outdoors.
